The Selective Demolition Process

1. Inspection & Gathering Information

Before any demolition begins, a thorough inspection has to be carried out so important variables can be taken into consideration.

2. Municipal Building Code Review

Building codes will vary from place to place. This will tell us what can or cannot be done for demolition.

3. Cut & Cap to Operative Functions

Technicians will be sent in to cut and cap main operative functions since selective demolition is a living one.

4. Preparing the Building

The structure will be readied for demolition, which can involve removing some components and installing temporary lighting.

5. Strip to Shell

Specialists will dismantle all electrical, mechanical, and architectural elements, leaving the building's shell.

6. Shoring Up the Structure

After the building is stripped down, the building will be shored. After this point, the building is ready for remodeling.
